Barry Lange

Chief Executive Officer

Barry has been with Huon Regional Care for 21 years – 13 years as the CEO and the 8 before it as Director of Nursing. He has provided stable leadership while the organisation has significantly grown and expanded the range of flexible services to the ageing community across the southern region of Tasmania.

Previously Director of Nursing for a large, multi-faceted aged care facility in Queensland, Barry gained his gerontic and nursing expertise in district health services and hospitals over many years.

Barry is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

Brenton West

Chief Operating Officer

Brenton joined Huon Regional Care as our Chief Operating Officer in 2019, returning to his native Tasmania from working and residing on the mainland. He brings a wealth of experience across government and not for profit sectors, with a special focus on community health and wellbeing.

Brenton has a Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Arts Degree (BBus/BA) majoring in Human Resource Management and Political Science, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and has a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Danielle Robertson

Executive Manager Finance and ICT

Danielle started with Huon Regional Care in 2020, and came to us from her most recent role as the Banking and Finance Operations Manager at MyState Bank. She has extensive experience in accounting and finance across multiple industries including manufacturing, hospitality, agriculture, real estate and financial services.

Danielle has a Bachelor of Business, majoring in accounting and finance and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Fiona Reid

People & Culture Manager

Fiona came to Huon Regional Care in 2019 from a decade long role as Corporate Services and Human Resources Manager at Workskills. In 2013 Fiona completed her Graduate Diploma of Human Resource Management and has recently achieved her qualification as a Certified Practitioner of the Australian Human Resource Institute (CPHR). She is experienced in both corporate and non-profit settings and has an extensive background in HR generalist affairs.

Prior to her role in Tasmania, Fiona ran a landscape and design business in Melbourne for twelve years and has worked in Senior Management roles in hospitality in Melbourne and Perth.
