Over the past two decades, David has led organisations in Australia and the Middle East. Over his career, he has worked across the non-profit, public, and private sectors in human services, learning and development, industrial relations, leadership development and telecommunications.
His most recent role has been as CEO of Carers Tasmania and of its service arm, Care2Serve. He has held these positions since July 2018. In these roles, some successes have been to advocate for change for family carers, including the creation of the Ministerial Carer Advisory Council and the introduction of the Carer Recognition Act. He led the launch and implementation of the new Australian Government carer Gateway program state-wide, which included the coordination of residential respite across all RACFs for carers of someone over 65yo.
David holds a Master of Business Administration, is a Fellow of the Institute of Managers and Leaders and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. David holds certificates in coaching and psychometric testing.
Fiona came to Huon Regional Care in 2019 from a decade long role as Corporate Services and Human Resources Manager at Workskills.
In 2013 Fiona completed her Graduate Diploma of Human Resource Management and holds the qualification of Certified Practitioner of the Australian Human Resource Institute (CPHR). She is experienced in both corporate and non-profit settings and has an extensive background in HR generalist affairs.
Prior to her role in Tasmania, Fiona ran a landscape and design business in Melbourne for twelve years and has worked in Senior Management roles in hospitality in Melbourne and Perth.
Danni has over 25 years’ experience in nursing and management, across aged care, acute care and primary health services.
With strategic oversight and management of residential aged care and Home Care services at Huon Regional Care, Danni is working towards implementing the recommendations from the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety and undertaking the Governing for Reform in Aged Care program.
Danni holds a Masters of Health Services Management from Charles Sturt University, Graduate Diploma of Nursing (Critical Care) and a Bachelor of Nursing from UTAS.
Danni joined Huon Regional Care in May 2022.
